Synopsis
I am Bonnie charts the rise and fall of an intersex child who is raised as a woman and goes on to become the star of the Bengal women’s football team. However, after failing a routine sex test and transitioning to male, Bonnie is exploited by everyone – from his religious community to the football club he is devoted to.
