What and who is QFN? We are a not-for-profit, community-led organisation made up of LGBTQIA+ film programmers focused on bringing together queer film exhibitors to share resources and ideas.

QFN was established in October 2015 after a meeting of queer film programmers supported by Film Hub Wales at Iris Prize Film Festival.

Our goals are to share our collective knowledge and encourage one another through peer support to develop and nurture queer film in the UK and Ireland. Working together to create a vibrant and inclusive network, we provide opportunities for members to connect with each other to develop collaborations, find new content, and gain ideas about how best to serve LGBTQIA+ audiences.

We are especially passionate about increasing access to queer film and finding ways to enable our members to reach all sections of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We have also delivered several tours of films and guest filmmakers around the UK and Ireland. Click here to see a list of our previous tours.

If you would like to know more pleaseĀ email us.

QFN is a strategic Film Hub Wales project and receives support from the BFI Film Audience Network.
