What and who is QFN? We are an emerging professional organisation of four Queer film programmers focused on bringing together other Queer film programmers working within film festivals, clubs and societies.
Established in October 2015 after meeting in 2014 at a Film Hub Wales programming event as part of The Iris Prize Film Festival, we were inspired to create a network.
Our goals are to share our collective knowledge and encourage one another through peer support to develop and nurture queer film in the UK and Ireland. Working together to create a vibrant and inclusive network, we hold bi-annual meetings for members to develop opportunities for collaboration. To find new content, build and promote programs to go on tour as well as access funding and develop helpful resources to share on our website.
We are especially passionate about increasing access to queer film and finding ways to enable our members to reach all sections of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Join and as a member you will have access to resources to help create and develop your film events.

QFN is a strategic Film Hub Wales project and receives support from the BFI Film Audience Network.
